A humanitarian actively engages in promoting human welfare and social reforms and has no prejudice with human suffering on grounds of gender, sexual orientation, religious, or national divisions. A humanitarian’s goal is to save lives, relieve suffering, and maintain human dignity in the aftermath of natural disasters or civil unrest.

At each Vet-Fest event, we honor our community’s humanitarians who selflessly act to serve the community: military, police, doctors, nurses, firemen, teachers, delivery drivers, and more! The way we do this is by presenting them with humanitarian awards that give them the recognition they deserve!

Since we host events all over the state of Georgia, we rely on your nominations to choose the humanitarians that we will honor at our next event in your region! If you know someone who has made it their mission to benefit the community, please nominate them by filling out the form on the “nominate a humanitarian” page!
