A humanitarian actively engages in promoting human welfare and social reforms and has no prejudice with human suffering on grounds of gender, sexual orientation, religious, or national divisions. A humanitarian’s goal is to save lives, relieve suffering, and maintain human dignity in the aftermath of natural disasters or civil unrest.
At each Vet-Fest event, we honor our community’s humanitarians who selflessly act to serve the community: military, police, doctors, nurses, firemen, teachers, delivery drivers, and more! The way we do this is by presenting them with humanitarian awards that give them the recognition they deserve!
